We stayed 3 nights at the Byron hotel to go shopping in London. The hotel itself is clean, cosy and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The location is superb, you could go either way and it is located in a quiet street off the busy street. The beds are also very good, the dining room is very cosy, what a surprise, in short, congratulations with your excellent hotel, we will definitely come back and whe have already recommended you to several friendship, do so on!!!

Stayed at this excellent hotel for 3 nights mid January. Well appointed room - clean, modern and with an excellent bathroom. It is situated on quite a quiet road so slept very well - very good bed too. Cannot fault the hotel or their very professional, yet friendly, staff. Definitely recommend.

"Very good experience"

I spent 3 nights at the Hotel Byron. The room and bathroom were large and very clean, very equipped (heating, hair dryer, closet, bed, desk, shampoo, shower gel ...) Quiet rooms floors with elevator. Good continental breakfast! A bus stop 200 meters (390) and 2 metros. The staff is excellent: very cheerful, very helpful and very discreet. We'll definitely be back.

"Nice hotel, easy access to halal food and restaurants"

Nice hotel, clean room, friendly staff. Wifi is good. Located near 2 tube station, very convenient to go to many of London's tourist attractions using the tube. The main street near the hotel has plenty of shops such as supermarkets (Tesco, Sainsbury), pharmacies, restaurants and souvenir shops. There are plenty of halal restaurants on this main street as well, chinese/thai restaurant. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

"Stay in London"

We spent five nights in September and enjoyed this hotel very much. Very clean and the staff was wonderful. The continental breakfast was very good and the serving staff especially attentive. The reception staff was also extremely helpful, especially Ravi and Ali. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and this hotel was a big part of it.

"Excellent visit"

My husband and I spent three nights at the Byron Hotel. It is located on a quiet street near the tube, bus stops, and restaurants. Shopping is near by. The rooms are clean. The bed was comfortable. There was plenty of hot water in the shower. We ate the continental breakfast which was included in those room price. We found the front desk staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable and funny!. We had to leave early one morning and they saw to it that breakfast was available to us before the dining room was open. I would highly recommend the Byron as an affordable, no frills hotel accessible to many of London's best locations.

"Great location, wonderful hospitality"

Our choice for Hotel Byron was perfect for us. The location was amazing! The hotel is very close to Kensington/Hyde Park, only a few minutes away from 2 major tube stations and even closer to bus station.

The Hotel already looks welcoming from outside and doesn't disappoint when you enter. A lovely little reception with lots of brochures, a coffee-/tea maker and water dispenser invites to wait and chat a bit with the friendly manager or receptionist. The room was small but just as welcoming, with everything we needed. Practical, with charm. The beds are so comfortable - we miss them now.

The staff and service is quick, efficient and charming! The waitresses are also your room maids, which gave us a specially warm and well cared for feeling, that no grand hotel can provide.

All in all we were very happy there and would recommend it whole heartedly to our friends.

"Great hotel near Hyde Park"

The room is excellent: very clean, nice bathroom, roomy shower and a comfortable bed. The location is ideal for tourists, but ideal for anyone who is a runner; it is very close to the park. You are just a few blocks from a tube stop. Also, you can walk to Paddington station for the Heathrow express if you pack lightly.

"I recommend the Byron Hotel"

My days at the Byron Hotel were super. Great service, friendly staff, great breakfast, atmospheric hotel. The rooms were also very nice - good beds, very clean. If I come back to London, I would go to the Byron hotel that's for sure. Close to the underground, a quiet street. Close to lots of sights. You feel like a welcome guest.

"Nice Hotel in a good location"

Stayed here on the 1 December 2012, very central location just off the Bayswater Road close to the Queensway and Bayswater tube stations 5 min walk, so good connections for central and circle lines.

Hotel is clean and well presented. Our room was a bit small but the bed was really comfy and had everything that you needed. Breakfast is continental but you can upgrade to a full English breakfast for £7.95 which is a bit expensive for what you get - that was the downside, but at the end of the day there is enough around the Queensway area to suit all palates.

So if you're looking for a nice hotel for a weekend visit, you can't go far wrong with this one.

"Great stay at the Byron"

I was concerned when I was booking a hotel in London as I'd read a lot of horror stories, I was extremely pleased however that I think I found a little gem in the form of the Byron Hotel at Bayswater. Not only was our room clean with a really comfortable bed, it was also very quiet. The bathroom was well maintained and also very clean.

We had the continental breakfast which was very good as it was included in the price: tea/coffee/juice, toast with jam/marmalade, cereals, rolls, croisssants, ham, cheese, yogurt etc. Cooked breakfasts are at an extra cost. The staff readily offered top ups to the drinks. Reception staff were extremely polite and helpful especially to those who wanted directions to tourist attractions etc. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from Queensway and Bayswater tube stations and we certainly felt safe walking back in the late evening. There are a lot of restaurants, cafes and shops locally. We will not hesitate to use the Byron again.

"Great place..."

Travelled to London as a couple for 5 nights - hotel easy to find - near Queensway tube stop.

Room clean, fresh towels etc every day, staff very friendly and helpful. Reasonable prices and a great location, close to Hyde Park. Enjoyed our short stay very much.

"Very nice surprise!"

First time stayer on business. Very nice experience. Hotel is clean and well furnished. I had a compact double room en suite that was ideal for my needs. Free daily wifi for the first hour. Nominal charge if needed for longer. Very competitively prices for Market it is looking to attract. Definitely would consider staying again.
London, United Kingdom, 29 February 2012.

"Very Good"

We stayed at least 10 times at the Byron Hotel within three years. Our last stay was in November 2011. The hotel is close to 2 tube stations (Bayswater and Queensway), close to buses stations too. On Queensway you can find all sort of restaurants, shops, supermarkets and a commercial center (Whiteleys). Oxford Street is at 20 minutes walk along (or through)Hyde Park. For all these reasons, Byron Hotel is a great location.

Rooms are comfortable and clean. During our different stays was had at least 8 different rooms and always have been pleased with them. They all have a flat screen TV. Air conditioned is appreciate. All rooms have a hairdryer, a boiler for water. Some rooms have recently been renewed.

Check in and check out is quick and the staff at the front desk is friendly and helpful, always ready to give you a piece of advice in order to make your stay a nice stay in London. Byron hotel is our favourite address in London, we'll go back there next time.
Paris, France, 29 February 2012.

"A pleasant experience"

The hotel was quite easy to locate, it was very clean and the staff was very polite. They were well informed about their surroundings and could answer to my queries. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we will go to London again.
Birmingham, England. May 2010

"Very satisfied"

Very lovely. Wonderful service. Everyone was so friendly. Excellent full English breakfast (at extra charge: bedroom and breakfast were charged separately, which seems to be common in London though not in the provinces). We would certainly be happy to stay here again.

"Good hotel in a fantastic location!"

This was my first trip to London and for me choosing a good hotel was important as we would be there for 2 long weeks. We found the Byron on internet and decided the price and the location was perfect for our purposes. It definitely lived up to my expectations.

After arriving at the hotel, we were delighted to see that our location had 2 tube stops, really handy and the street had plenty of restaurants and shops which we frequented during our stay, Kensington gardens was only a stroll away as was Oxford st. (great shopping). Location was perfect!

Our room was cosy and warm and we liked the big closet and safe deposit box. The bathroom was great, showers were warm. We came home to a clean and tidy room everyday.

The staff were super friendly and helpful we didn't have any problems. Overall i thought the Byron was perfect and good value, it served our purpose, a good base to stay for our first trip to London!

I'd stay at the Byron again next time I'm there!
Perth, 10 Mar 2010.

The Byron hotel was perfect for our purpose, we visited London for a theatre trip and the Byron provided everything we needed. The room wasn't huge but was value for money.

Byron staff was very pleasant and meet all our requirements even though were particularly fussy.

"Great place to stay"

Booked a 25 year reunion with a friend! Perfect location. Plenty to do locally and great tube into Central London. I'd stay there again.
Bristol, 1 Mar 2010.

"Great value for money, great staff"

This small hotel is located very close to both Bayswater and Queensway subway stations, ideal for people who want to have easy transportation across London. You can reach Notting Hill and Portobello's market by foot. The rooms are comfortable; the executive room is more comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is available both in continental and english version. The staff is really kind!

Overall: I am very satisfied with the stay.

"very good!"

We spent 4 nights in this hotel, and everything was fine! Staff was very nice and the room was clean and made up every day. Bathroom was comfortable, clean, large and warm. Breakfast was very good, different kinds of cereals, bread, toasts, juice, coffee, tea, yogurt, jam... you could even order a continental breakfast. If I ever return to London, I will surely choose this hotel again! Thank you!

"London: Byron Hotel, the best quality/price ratio choice"

Our staying in London was very good. The Byron Hotel is a very good choice. The price is not so high if compared with the good level comfort offered. The hotel position is fantastic: near two metro station (Queensway and Bayswater) that allow to reach quickly quite all main city atractions.

"Location, warmth, secure, clean and a great shower at a great price!"

Excellent hotel. I was originally booked for a couple of days, ended up coming back for another night later in the week because it was such good quality and value. For my second stay I was booked in for a single room, however, when I arrived late at night they had a double free, so said I could stay in that instead if I wanted. That's great hospitality, and ensures I'll not only come back, but will also tell all my friends. Highlights - strong hot shower. Very important when its 5 degrees or less outside. Good central heating. Quiet rooms (if you're not facing the road). Good soft bed and nice linen. Very clean, this is a rarity for central London. The Byron Hotel proves you can get reasonably priced quality accommodation in the centre of London.
